Located beneath Proctor Hall in the basement of the Graduate College, the Debasement Bar (DBar) offers a great selection of beer, wine, and liquor all for the best prices in town. Trivia, karaoke, live music, and parties? The DBar has it all!
What is the DBar?
The DBar operates under a private club license issued by the NJ Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC). Under state law, the DBar is only open to members of the club and their guests. All members and guests must show proof of membership and age to the doorperson upon entry. Each member may sign in up to nine guests. Members are legally responsible for the subsequent behavior of their guests. No one under 21 is permitted to enter during hours of operation.
Please help us follow the law. Without our license, there would be no DBar. Thanks!
About our club license
All dues-paying residents of the Graduate College and Graduate College Annexes are automatically members. Princeton University graduate students who do not live at the GC or Annexes can become members for a nominal fee of $25. All others must be signed in by a member. You must be 21+ to become a member.

Sign up for your non-resident membership
The annual membership is valid from September to September. By law, a period of 72 hours must pass after the application is submitted before we can grant you membership, so sign up early!
